When one mentions Binondo, you are immediately transported to a place of chaotic energy, of cheap finds and delicious food. And yet, Binondo’s Hokkien culture, a significant part of its heritage and history, is in danger of fading away forever. Too few are knowledgable of their language, cuisine, and other practices if people don’t take timely action.
